Welcome to the Atlas of Descriptive Histology
Companion Website

This website is a companion to the textbook Atlas of Descriptive Histology, by Michael H. Ross, Wojciech Pawlina, and Todd A. Barnash, published by Sinauer Associates. The site is designed to help you learn the histology presented in the textbook through the use of a flexible image viewer that allows you to view all of the micrographs presented in the textbook’ plates. Each micrograph is provided separately. A zoom tool allows you to view the micrograph at either low or high resolution. Labels and leaders can be displayed or hidden independently. A self-quiz mode allows you to test yourself on structure identification. Additionally, each micrograph can be download for incorporation into your notes.
